I have a Cayin A-300P which I no longer use but hold in high regard for both construction and sonics. The 20 wpc is simply not enough for my current speakers. I should sell it but held off since I expected that could be difficult with no US importer at the time. Now apparently VAS is importing them.

Sorry but I don't know about corporate ownership or variations in production over time. You might try contacting VAS with any questions.
