That post just made me think of watching kids movies in particular. My daughter and I have many fond memories of watching Shrek, Nemo, Toy Story, all the Harry Potter's multiple times, and of course I introduced her to Star Wars etc. Back when I actually bought DVD's, before streaming was possible. Much father/daughter bonding happened.
A really cool part was when we rewatched Shrek when she was 18 or so, and she then commented that she picked up on so many scenarios that went over her head when she watched it when she was 7 or so. Such an awesome family movie.
