RE: Does Magnepan repair delaminating maggies?

As your speakers are that old and made before they changed to a different glue, I am not surprised the wire has come lose. If the wiring is still okey it can be reglued with the 3M 30NF waterbased glue. Remove the old glue with aceton first. If the wire is brittle i need to be replaced altogether. Magnepan can do it but it will not be cheap as it means shipping the speakers both ways. Magnepan sells kit for DIY, wire, wire and instructions. They will not ship the glue during the winter as it is waterbased.
