I'm running them on a vintage 1990's rega elicit. It's rated at 65wpc into 8 ohms and I must admit it's barely enough to drive the maggies. On the few occasions I push the volume up to wall-shaking levels it triggers the amp's thermal protection sometimes.My (now closed) local dealer once told me they like to be driven by 200 wpc....
