As the aging owner of a BAT VK-500..

I concur entirely with your thinking. Back when I got it, it was a bear to move (105 lbs) but I could heft it decently, I have a good back, just use proper form, etc.

Now, I am a cursed man. I can *barely* still move it around, but up or down stairs, oh man, well, I did it earlier this year, took me about 45 minutes, with copious resting.

Age is such a cruel little jerk.

I probably should sell the BAT system someday, just for practicality sake.
