Tube-Maggie-zero autotransformer?...New question from an old inmate...

Old, as in I started here under the moniker Kiefer74 around '98-'99. (trying to get my old moniker back!)

Here's my situation in order:

Cheap transport - MF A3.24 DAC - Rogue Magnum 99 pre - Rogue Magnum M-120's- Maggie 1.6's-Tara Labs Air IC's throughout (I know...a lil on the warmer/darker side of things).

I love the sound that I get from this combo (for the most part), but I would like to have the spl be quite a bit higher (LOUDER!!!)

My questions:

-would adding the Zero Auto-tranformer help ($799)?
-upgrading the 120's to 150's($2G's)?
-upgrading the 120's to 150's($2G's) + zero autotransformer ($799)?
-biamping the 1.6's...120's on bottom and the 90 for the top($2G's)?

BTW I'm seriously thinking of upgrading my 120's to 150's...just not looking forward to the price to do so, and I think it might be safe to say that even with the 150's I believe I'll need more power (maybe), hence the question about the Zero Auto tranformers.

I love the Maggie sound, have had my 1.6's for a lil over 6 years, but when it comes to high level listening, which I do a lot, the 1.6's fall short.

Any advice welcomed!

Jon (AKA kiefer74)
