When we started 2nd grade in Fall 1978, Walter Egan's "Magnet And Steel" was a lite rock hit. Here in San Francisco, it seemed to go hand-in-hand, with the cool Bay breezes. In fact, life around the Bay can still be augmented and enhanced, by "Magnet And Steel."

Thank you for bringing up Egan's Not Shy, which most people are probably unaware of. It was produced by Lindsey Buckingham. So it makes sense, that he and Stevie Nicks appeared on "Magnet And Steel."

Carol Ann Harris, Lindsey's girlfriend at the time, and author of the fairly recent tell-all book, "Storms" A lot of interesting information in it, though I wasn't thrilled with the writing style.
