I just looked up the product information and all that does is filter out unwanted noise on a DC power supply. It's not designed to have AC sent into it. I suspect that your AC power supply is damaged, not sure if the ifi is damaged.

Are you saying that when the Purifier is between the Speedbox and the motor that you get no action (which isn't surprising!) or are you saying that the Speedbox/motor is no longer working when you REMOVE the ifi dc purifier?
The DC purifier filters/blocks AC, so you won't get the required AC voltage waveform to the motor - the Purifier should have been put between the plug pack and the 18V DC INPUT to the speedbox. The speedbox generates the AC voltage waveform for the AC motor in the turntable. The Purifier should be fine because the maximum input voltage is 24V (DC) and the peak voltage from the Speedbox was just under 23V.
