Hadn't given it much thought in a number of years, then saw it was being reissued (first time on vinyl). AIR, a lovely, elegiac album. Came up a bit short when I saw it's a quarter century old - it's release is still fresh in my mind. "SMiLE" (both Brian's re-recording and the reconstruction of the original) were still a few years off, so it seemed like it would be the closest we'd come to a complete Wilson/Parks collaboration. Time moves on...

Hoping the master and pressing will be good - no experience with Omnivore Recordings. Mastering engineer is Michael Graves; again, not familiar to me. Seems he's done a lot of field recordings and folk blues, plus some jazz (Vince Guaraldi, Wayne Horvitz). This kind of layered, baroque pop is a little different than the rest of his portfolio.
