After 2 1/2 hours spraying weeds on my ten acres earlier today, it was time to relax and spin some records. The Runaways, 1976, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, 1971 and Gang Of Four - Entertainment, 1979. All bought new when released.

Aw man, I was all excited to put on Cecil Taylor's Jazz Advance next, but it's gonna be hard not to listen to Gang of Four now. So hard to think of a rock record I like better. It just feels amazing to listen to every time you put it on.

Did pretty well, too.

The blissful counterstroke-a considerable new message.

The first 4 studio albums. Saw a Youtube clip of a record dealer talking about expensive audiophool pressings. So i whipped out my old flea market specials. Love over Gold is by far the best album, both musically and in production value.

I saw a TV doc on Suzi Quatro the other day. She wasn't on my radar back then and she still isn't but she was a pioneering rock b*tch, a major influence on Joan Jett, Chrissy Hynde and others.

Greetings Freek.
