The Shure Easy Mount

I have an old Shure M93E with the metal "Easy Mount" bracket and it just barely holds the cartridge body as described in the literature - the very small bump on the front of the cartridge isn't really big enough to hold the cartridge tight and with a little force it slips and the body hits the bracket. Is this normal for this mount or should it be tighter or more secure?
