Just finished my Vacuum Tube Audio PH16 and with my newly upgraded sound, I thought I'd treat myself to a new record. First album I ever bought was Aerosmith Draw the Line, which I tossed out many years back. It became unlistenable from playing on lousy Sanyo junk as a young dumb kid, with a nickel taped to the headshell. I could have kept it for the cover but that particular album had a soft, paper finish and even that was ruined. I see this album is available on 180g vinyl. Is it worth it? I don't recall the sound quality of the original pressing as by the time I had a decent system to play it on, it was already trashed. I could also look for an original on ebay in the best condition I can find. My original pressing of Rocks sounds VERY good, maybe Draw the Line might be good too. This would be my first 180g LP.

Well... because I'm sitting here and listening... and I don't know your musical interests.. the George Fest tribute album to George Harrison is absolutely outstanding and awesome because of the current artists participating and the recording quality. Mostly have fun and enjoy!

There is something deeply disturbing in the OP's post.

Well, the OP has a pretty nice system(s) costing tens of thousands dollars. The OP wants to buy ONE record. Doesn't that strike you as odd? Not a value judgement just seemed funny.

a period press. That me should be easy to find in the bins. It will sound better and much cheaper than those black CD's with punched up bass.

"Draw the Line?" I remember as a teen during their peak-Toys/Roxks being disappointed when it came out. A Night in the Ruts? That MTV favorite, Pump? Dreadful.
