Currently have an Astatic MF100, Ortofon 2M Blue, DL-103R and an AT33 Mono, all played on my Sonographe SG3 with a Sumiko MMT Premier arm. I have the urge to try something new. Two carts are calling, the relatively new Hana EH and the AT33EV. The Hana has to be the high output version because my Cinemag based home-built SUT doesn't support a 400 Ohm load. I am driving everything with my tubed EAR 834P MM version.

Sometimes I just get the urge for something new. That never happens here, right?

I don't know if anyone here has tried both the AT and the Hana, but I thought I would ask anyway if there's a preference between the two. My favorite two carts are my Astatic and my AT mono. The AT33EV can be had for about $375 from eBay and the Hana is about $475. I'm not opposed to spending more if the sound difference is worth it.

Any comments?
