 Hi there, I hope its OK to post this here... I restored (2) RCA theater amps for a friend of mine and they sound great ! Among the various problems, one of the chassis' had a shorted plate transformer which I (strangely enough)found NIB on ebay for $115 . Incredible ! Now, about 3 weeks into his stereo rig at home, the other chassis has developed a secondary short in its plate transformer. So guys, for what its worth, I'm putting it out there...we are in the market for a good transformer part# 949816-1 Tanks a million, Rick
