I got a call from a guy who was putting a couple of speaker cabinets in the trash for town pickup.

In a non descript cabinart cbox there was a Altec 412a, 3000b and 3000a. I was talkin to opening it up by a friend. It was a pain in the butt

Also, picked up a Electrovoice Aristocrat cabinet. I am not sure how to open it up and check out what is inside.

Hi there,

You can at least see the drives in the aristocrat by removing the grille from the front. To do so, turn the cabinet upside down. Look along the bottom edge of the front of the speaker; you should find some screws running along that edge. Remove these screws, and you should be able to slide the grill out from the bottom. Then you can at least get an idea of what the drivers are.
