One of the seven are a parts unit.I have a 3rd one that would be super clean as well if all the writing wasn't worn off of the right side face plate. Jim McShane has them all only far and above improved of what the originals were.The preamp and those amps in your picture are McShane part's upgrades.
I have that same setup I run on the big Martin Logans with a pair of Citation 2s,but preamps I like to alternate between the Fisher 400cx2, and the Mac C20, and the Heathkit AA-11,and the Citation 1.I wish I had cages for my Citation 2s but I don't want to pay 300 to 400 each which is what they go for on average for one.

The AA-11 is special in the sense that it has Baxandall tone controls,and it has separate circuity for anything you want to do.It also has a potted choke and a copper lined chassis. FenderLover	I suppose that it's worth it... esp if you have Citation 2 to power your sources. Did you use OD caps? Like the guy on the website? One thing about OD, they last. I have had issues with a few "boutique" caps and premature death. Thanks!

I have a "McShaned" Cit. 2. It is a kick butt piece. :>D

AR3s, AR9s, or the little ProAc Tablettes my space constrained situation requires, all sound FINE. Mike Samra uses a pair of "Deuces" on his Martin/Logan 'stats, with considerable pleasure. About the only speakers I would not mate to the "Deuce" are big Thiels. Those "puppies" have dips down to 1 ohm and, even on the 4 ohm tap, I question voice coil control. For a tube amp, the H/K Cit. 2 has a large damping factor, but a 75% dip is (IMO) pressing your luck.

Stu Hegeman's masterpiece is unconditionally stable. A poor speaker selection will not cause damage, but bad sound is another matter.
