Don't know if this is coronavirus related or not, but I placed an order for 1-12V, from your preferred vendor, on April 12, with an estimated delivery time of 19 to 39 days.

The last tracking detail shows it 'Departed country of origin' on May 25 and, seemingly, never 'Arrived at destination country', along with no tracking in the US. Now at 60 days total.

I guess all I am saying to you and others (who might have ordered a power supply), to be aware there may be a slowdown & to be patient and hopefully things should work out. This was going to be a sequestering project but, funny, I've found plenty of other things to work on, hi-fi and non!

Thanks!

I know, it's been frustrating. It's not the fault of the sellers, since the packages tend to sit in shipping containers, sometimes for weeks, waiting to set sail towards all parts of the world, QuadTodd.

On top of that, shipping prices have increased, so what once might have been a great deal is now just a very good price found. The Chinese state subsidy of shipping costs as a government incentive seems to have been reduced, effectively raising the final cost of a product when delivering a heavy item such as a power supply. I'm not looking forward to waiting for yet another Studer900 PSU to be delivered, this time for a Mackie mixer, but it's a must-have in order to upgrade the cheap, sterile sounding switch-mode power supply.

As a result, the final cost of a 30VA Studer900 including shipping has increased around 20%. Still, much less expensive than a name brand PSU of the same performance level might cost from a seller in the west.

...which only took around 2-1/2 weeks to be delivered via DHL.

Did you receive your Studer900, yet? I look forward to reading about your findings someday, QuadTodd.

Still waiting on mine; in 3 days it will be 3 months wait. When I saw your turn-around time, it was time to act. There is some confusion on the order; I ordered just one on April 12 and then it is relisted as a second order on May 1 for $12.55 more. Huh???

I cannot enter a dispute on my original April order within 15 days because on an "Order Confirmation of Receipt Time of 5/6/20" which is pretty tough because it never shipped! The second 'order' shipped on 5/23 and tracking stops on 5/25.

Good thing it wasn't a critical item! Got lucky that way - just hoping the mfg will provide some remedy.

Have you messaged the seller about the problem? If so, what did they tell you? If the item was never shipped, you should automatically receive a refund without even having to enter a dispute.

If you have a tracking number, and the item was never delivered, you should be able to enter a dispute after a certain amount of time has passed.

If you take a screenshot of the order, maybe I can provide some help.

I wrote to them on 7/9 and received a reply 2 days later that they would have to check the tracking data and have seen nothing since. Today, I sent 5 links I could find on that shipment to attempt to speed things up a bit. It has 2 different tracking numbers, one for DHL and another for USPS(?).

It was picked up on 5/20, 'departed country of origin' on 5/25 and was never seen or tracked again. So will wait to see what they say.

Sometimes a purchase is made with China Post/USPS chosen by the buyer as the shipper, but the seller chooses to use DHL for a larger/heavier package. A new DHL tracking number will then show-up on the AliExpress order page. I assume DHL is the proper tracking number, so you should use the tracking number on the DHL website.

The exact thing happened on my recent purchase of a Studer900 via AliExpress. The seller sent a message that an attempt to deliver the package via DHL occurred. I had no idea DHL was the new shipper. Then looked at the AliExpress order page to see what happened, and arraigned a new delivery date with DHL. BTW, the shipping time via DHL tends to be very quick.

Turns-out AliExpress Premium Shipping is delivered via DHL, sometimes FedEx, which is a very different thing than AliExpress Standard Shipping, which is shipped via China Post/USPS or another Asian shipper that hands the package over to USPS for delivery, often without a tracking number for trivial items with a very low, or no-cost shipping charge.
