Howdy pixelphoto,

That eBay listing makes my head hurt. Not sure what is included in the purchase:

The spring-loaded termination connector -or- the connector, the tester device, and the cable reel as a package...

Perhaps a handy tool for trouble-shooting or quickly-testing prototypes.

It might be useful as a adaptor. Any quality DIY interconnect will depend on the connectors as part of the total sonic package. No shortcuts when evaluating designs.

Looks good for a solder-less repair on cheap audio speaker-wires, kind of pricey though.

That is an excellent idea!

I can see the same concept being applied to BNC, XLR, 1/4", etc. for temporary needs.
