hihi, might anymore know of a Day Sequerra FM Reference tuner, repair person, in the nyc area, please?

Here's a link to a nice page about Sequerra tuners in general. If you want to retain the resale value, the factory is still supporting them. Good luck!

Ben Jacoby, aka High End Audio Repair, works on those. He did a refresh/update on a VTL preamp of mine and did an outstanding job. He is in Brooklyn. Day Sequerra is in NJ, near Phili.

Day Sequerra is offering updates to some of their tuners, which now qualify as vintage! They will replace the scope with a modern (long-lasting) electronic display and add a circuit to reduce IBOC noise from HD radio. Ironically DS is a big commercial seller of HD gear to stations. They are adding to the problem and selling you a cure! It's expensive; Stereophile did an article on it. If I had a DS and cash to burn I would be tempted.
