Nagra VPA 845 replacement

 I am looking to replace existing 845s with PSVane WE845. Problem is diameter of the tubes.

I have the original 845 that have the grey collar on the top plate that the tubes fit into. (Not the tube protection towers). I have measured the diameter of these collars and its 59mm. The specification of the WE845 is 60mm. I know there are VPA owners out there using WE845, did you have any issues getting the tubes to physically fit?

I would be grateful for any feedback.

 I use the PSvane WE845 with the tube towers, which slide right over the tube (although the spring holder in the base of the tower is a tight fit ).
Given the spring holder is same as used in the tube collars, I don't see why that would not work as well.
