Hello and thanks in advance for your help.Does anyone have in idea where you can find any 6s17k-v tubes in the USA? This is a Russian tube that seems a bit difficult to find.

Do you really need it?
It has Mu about 150-180. Thus, you'll get amplification about 100-130 and total Miller input capacitance of 150-250 pF. Plus input capacitance of your interconnects - 100-200 pf and this is a hard task to drive for the source.

I'm using a similar high mu tube - triode section of 6F12P and I'm faced with 125 pF input capasitance. :-))) I'm thinking to find a substitution - like CC+CG cascode, or just two stages instead of one.
