By the same token, stage gain balance should carry through to the speakers and room in order to preserve the concepts of high fidelity and sound quality. In my room I have seven 2' x 4' x 3" Rockboard sound absorbent panels. They provide a more balanced audio spectrum at low volumes that is usually reserved for party approved loudness. At higher volumes they provide some HF reverb attenuation. Both of these observations are subjective but repeatable with different observers. |
