Ok, now that we know cool decks are out there, who is going to be the first to buy one and share the experence with us, one fine gentleman purchased a technics rs 1500, good job. Now the first one to purchase a new 10 1/2 inch 15ips 1/2 track should get a new AA yo yo, right Rod? Who will it be? Who will be the first to convert any R to R to front panel adjustable bias and EQ? Two yo yo's, right rod? And as long as I am giving away other peoples things it's 3 yo yos to anyone who can convert a vinyl buff to add r to r. If you buy a "new" casette deck I will tie your yo yo string in knots because you are a yo yo. (all in fun guys, yours is just small, no biggie) As one "date" said to me "who you going to please with that?" I quickly retorted, "Just me baby"

I must confess--

I was doing just fine with my present vinyl setup. Simple memories of 10.5 inch reels spun somewhere deep in my psyche... until the advent of this tape forum.

There was absolutely no turning back! Yes, indeed I was on the prowl for what soon showed up at my door --- a real reel to reel.

I am not sure about needing a yo yo though, I would probly end up poking out an eye with it.

Remember, clean and demagged heads are happy heads :)
