hi all,

I'm looking to finally get my 4311s off the ground and on proper stands. I see a lot of people use the steel stands from Deer Creek. Only issue I see with them is that they are only 8" tall, and everything i've read online says you should get the big JBL's 1 to 2ft off the ground. I've seen some other custom wood stands and metal stands that are in the 18"-24" range. But the Deer Creek stands seem like they are replicas of the originals? You think the Deer Creek stands will do or do I need taller stands? Thanks all

I know my friend used and liked the Deer Creek stands with his JBL 4312's. That said, don't know how the 4312 relates to the 4311. I assume they're similar, but.....

I'd recommend using some cinder blocks, gallon paint cans or whatever else you can get that's appropriate and experiment with height settings. So much depends on your room, electronics and listening habits that the experiences of others may not be the best solution for you.

I use a 12" stand for the JBL 100s and 100T3 which puts the tweeter near sitting ear height, which was my goal.
