What vintage speaker is this?

Howdy all. Interested in finding out the make and model of this vintage speaker. Appears to be a speaker that had popularity in the 1960s. Thank you for any information you have. :-)

 Any possibility of a Mfg. label underneath. If not known, use a mirror. Just a thought.

 Hi Charlie. Thank you for that mention. At this time the closest I can get to these speakers is via the photo. I might have the ability to purchase them though would be unable to receive details about them ahead of time. If I can determine what the speakers are I can figure out whether it is worth my time to take a long drive to view them.

 It is tough to tell - from only the picture-
there are many possibilities- University Driver (or some other Mfgr) in a semi-custom cabinet-
Might need to open it up-
but if you have to buy it first - that cuts into the price I'd be willing to pay...

 I had a friend who had a Bozak 201 coax (I think that was the model - the one with a bass speaker with two tweeters across its face) that looked suspiciously like that. A great speaker.

 This is a Bozak five cubic foot enclosure for the B300 or B302. The B300 was a "coax" with a 12 inch woofer and two 3 inch tweeters. The 302 added a midrange. They were superb loudspeakers and high quality furniture.

I absolutely certain of the enclosure identification because I worked for a Bozak dealer at the time and built a pair from Bozak kits in 1964. I enjoyed them for more than twenty years, then gave them to my daughter. They ended up in her basement, which flooded and they were rendered useless.

This was Bozak's "Colonial" style, which was rare.The grille cloth is not original.

 Greatest challenge with vintage speakers isn't identifying them so much as it is verifying it still has the original drivers.

 I agree with briggs. It looks like a Bozak. That small dark logo on the bottom looks typical of the small logos with 'Bozak' as well. Here is a similar cabinet, and you can see the Bozak logo on the bottom.

 Thank you all who responded. These Bozak's sure seem appealing especially with the attractive Colonial cabinet. I decided not to check them out as, oddly, I am concerned the price might be so reasonable that I'd have to buy them. With the issue being in my crowded place I already have 2 largish speakers, including the similar styled Altec Valencia's, and do not have the room to store another sizeable speaker.

It would be tempting to purchase them just to see what listening pleasures they provide but reselling them likely will be difficult in this area. And the cost for packaging and shipping would likely make them difficult to sell via the internet.

But there is always tomorrow and I might change my mind (assuming they are still available)!

 Well how true my yesterday's mention of "there is always tomorrow." Today I went and saw the Bozak's (B300's). Asking price was $300. Someone working there suggested I make a crazy offer which I did. Sure enough what I considered a crazy offer was accepted--which made the price so reasonable I had to buy them. Even had 2 young girls happy to assist putting them in my car.

All is good though I still have limited storage space and I question whether I can resell them.

Per the sweet solid wood cabinet. Sticker on the rear of the speakers states B300's - Early American. Difficult to get details on Bozak cabinets though I found a photo of an Early American B300 on the Internet. It had a similar cabinet though the appearance was not identical. As Briggs mentioned I think they indeed are Colonial cabinets. I did find an Internet photo of a B300 owner's speakers with the same cabinets and he labeled them the Colonial model.

Look forward to putting them thru their paces. Thank you all who responded to my thread!
