Does anybody know what the actual differences are between the regular Haydn Grand and the Haydn Grand "Symphony Edition"?

I am pretty annoyed right now, having just wasted a ton of time reading "reviews" of the Symphony Edition, with ZERO information provided on what the differences / improvements are between the regular and the Symphony.

Thanks to anyone who might possess this apparently secret (??????) information!

It sounds crazy but try calling??? If you don't get an answer then you may be looking at more of a sales pitch then difference in design.

No I hear you, that's not a bad idea at all. I will probably send them an email and see what I can learn.

It's so weird, usually these companies are anxious to tell you about all the improvements they have made.

This is just speculation but I suspect that the Symphony Editions were a response to Best Buy dropping VA about 5 years ago. It flooded the market with the Grand series speakers and the values got very low. There were lots of new and floor demos available for dirt cheap. I'm thinking VA decided it would be years before they could sell that series at full price again so they came out with a new one that isn't all that different.

I bought a pair of the Mozart Grands, Bach Grands and a Waltz Grand for a total of about $1,400. They were floor models and a little banged up but it's a nice little surround system. They're best in smaller rooms in my opinion but in the right situation they can be very satisfying.

Hey, slap a new label on it and call them "classic series".

I also tried like HECK to find some info on these and came up empty handed. I'm calling shenanigans!!
