My beef is with LG customer service. Nearly a month ago, i called them to document an issue with my 65" C7 OLED TV.I was getting halo or ghost lights in the background while using AppleTV. They asked me to submit photos and proof of purchase receipt, which i did. The agent said someone would call me back that day to troubleshoot the issue. No one did. I called the next day and spoke with another agent who said "Jamal" would call me back in 5-7 days with a resolution. Never received a call. The third time i called, LG setup an appt. with a local LG service center to come to the house, No one showed up or called. When i called the number, it just goes to voicemail. Finally, i sent LG an email to complain. They responded that they would look meticulously at the photos and get back to me, although they said it would take some time. It's been over a week, and so far, no response. Perhaps LG is just too big for themselves. My tv is still under warranty. Maybe because i didn't purchase their extended warranty, they are giving me the finger. It's inexusable in these times, with all the competition for the consumer dollar, LG would not support the customer post- purchase. OK, rant over! |
