I have a pair with about 200 hours on them. Using them in Canary M80 mono's. So far they are excellent tubes. It takes a while for the bass to gain impact. The midrange is very good on vocals and especially sax and trumpet. Imaging is top notch. They are a step above my other Genelex and Shuguang black bottles. I have not heard any of the WE or premium 300B's but can't imagine they could sound hugely better.

Jon L Audiophile Posts: 6062 Joined: April 6, 2000	interesting PF article, but testing 300B tubes in DAC output is not the same as cranking out 6-8 watts in a power amplifier, so I wonder how they compare in an amp. $900-$950/pair is not exactly loose change, either..
