This is my first post on the Asylum. I have enjoyed all the great information I have read and have a great respect for the knowledge available.

First, I am trying to replace/upgrade HF (>475hz) from Wright WPA 3.5 2A3 amps that I modified to use 45 tubes. It has .22uF V-Cap CUTF coupling caps and all motor run caps in power supply. It runs at .82 watts at 180v so the 3.0K OPT works well. It drives 111db efficient Radian 950PB CD on 200hz Autotech tractrix horns.

Sccond, I am also trying to replace/upgrade MF (60-475hz) from Quicksilver Mid-Mono EL34 amps to 45 tube amps at 2.0 watts. These will drive 100db efficient pair of Hawthorne Audio open baffle Mid-woofers. The EL34 tubes don't seem to be a good match for the 45 tubes. I am looking for more transparency/separation in the mids.

Third, LF is Crown K-1 to Hawthorne Audio open baffle Augie woofers. Active tube crossover is Marchand so there is about 12db of loudness adjustment possible between 111db and 100 db drivers with being little as needed.

Questions - I would like to build a two stage amp with a DHT driver. My preamp has 10v output so gain is enough for at least for the 111db drivers.
Will the 01A and 112A tubes work as a replacement for the 6AN4 tubes in the Electraprint 45 DRD amp as long as heater voltage and cathode resistor match the new driver tube?
Are the characteristics of the 01A and 112A tubes similar enough that they can be interchanged with only gain affected?
Are there any other elements in the amp that would need to be changed?
If the MF amp needs more gain would it be better to switch to 6SN7 tubes or add a third 71A tube stage?
