Sorry, we don't have any photos from the actual times. But 25 years ago, my girlfriend ACS and I were at San Francisco's Pier 39. After dinner, we made the short walk to the iconic Tower Records, which used to be on Jones & Columbus. At the register was a small black-colored board, listing upcoming release dates for artists' new albums. On it was one for the "supergroup" duo, Electronic, consisting of Johnny Marr (The Smiths) and Bernard Sumner (New Order).

That would turn out to be Raise The Pressure, whose album cover artwork, according to ACS, reminded her of Erasure. This time, they worked with Karl Bartos, who used to be in Kraftwerk.

Not just for ACS, but for our other friends, "For You" was a feelgood hit, that summer. If you are the smart audiophile, who likes to dig for off-the-beaten-path commercially available pop/rock, you appreciate material, such as Electronic's "For You."
