I've heard many takes on it. Like most Blues music I heard Rock versions first. There's a Muddy Waters version around that's pretty great.

Thanks for posting. I was just listening to the new Black Keys album, and they have a version of Crawling King Snake on Delta Kream.

The BG one is more along John Lee Hooker's version and The Door's version based on that.

But like a lot of Blues chestnuts, the song has morphed and been adapted and interpreted
and re-interpreted countless times while retaining the same title.

That BK version is nice but that video is a little busy.

I was surprised to see the recorded roots of it go back about a hundred years.
