LtMandella	agreed, truly a seminal band. Now for an interesting derivative, one of my favs from 1990s LA. Luminator probably never heard of them though :( Come to think of it, he probably never heard of SPIRIT either...

rivervalley817	oops ... spelled their name wrong the Spirit band spawned a few acts when they fell apart including a shallow imitation of ... Spirit I had some pals that tried to get me into your second band listed the same ones that liked Springsteen a bit later I'll stick with J. Geils for 'east coast' blue collar rockers with regards,

Live Blow Your Face Out was one of the first records I ever bought in the early mid 70s and might be my favorite live record of all time. J. Geils is for sure one of my favorite bands of all times.
