35 years ago, the Bay Area actually received above average rainfall. Unfortunately, that made the grounds of my high school muddy. And it forced the 2500 students (plus faculty and staff!) indoors, for which the campus buildings did not have capacity. But The Cars' "Tonight She Comes" made the packed hallways a fun place to be. This was a new song, appearing on The Cars Greatest Hits. And when the halls thinned out, it was fun to listen to "Tonight She Comes" in front of your locker, and then skid/slide down the wet flooring. My wife, who actually did attend the same high school, still has fun, sliding on non-carpeted flooring to "Tonight She Comes." And again, the lame corporate-owned Bay Area radio stations do not play "Tonight She Comes." If you must have the least-thin, least-hashy physical medium, try The Cars Greatest Hits on DCC gold CD. -Lummy The Loch Monster |
