That clip you posted of him doing Different Drum was great. I've never seen it before, and I'm still smiling. Thanks! I got to see Linda in concert once, sometime in the mid-1970s. Mmmm.

I believe those are Acoustic 270 amps with cab loaded with Altec 418 speakers. 375 watts!

Even if I did see it, the way he rattles through it for comedic effect wouldn't have made it stand out for me. It was many years after the Stone Ponies had a hit with it that I found out it was written by Mike Nesmith.
