You may remember him from his stint with Mahavishnu Orchestra (Visions of Emerald Beyond era). Really enjoyed this, what a history he has. The reference to the impact of his tech High School in Detroit is something special.

Thanks for posting. I saw him with Mahavishnu Orchestra (2) around 1975 in NYC. What a fabulous concert.

Thought Armstrong's bass was going to level the building.

He/they were incredible.

Yep, that was a great show but I must have run out of film when the jammed together at the end. I remember when I bought tickets there was only one show scheduled but I guess the show sold out and Bill Graham added a second show. I felt kind of ripped off but had a great time anyway. If you squint you can see the Stones banner in the group shot.
