Hi,
I've never really posted on this site before but I must tell you all of a good article on blind testing wire by Larry Greenhill in the latest mag. Sound and Vision.
Only 3 wires are tested but it's worth a read....Mark Korda

Don't do it again because that would be double 'blind testing', posted on May 12, 2018 at 15:37:12

Blind tests don't necessarily mean anything. , posted on May 30, 2018 at 04:39:58
Especially if the results are negative. Even if the results are positive or appear to reveal differences they can't becessariky be trusted. There are too many things that can go wrong with the tests.

No wonder they could hardly tell the difference?

I finally sold the amplifier to a local enthusiast who was happy to own an amplifier with big exposed heat sinks.

So it is hard to tell the difference between 16 ga lamp cord and Monster Cable (which is 12 ga. lamp cord, IMO). And? ...

...back in that day I had a skeptical friend over, an audio equipment
repair guy, who didn't believe they could sound different.

He was blown away.

OF course it wasn't double-blind.
