Can anyone recommend some good, affordable power cords for a computer? I'm looking to spend in under $150 range, used. The computer is fed from a Blue Circle Music Ring balanced power conditioner and houses a Lynx L22 for audio.

I did some home brew cables that worked great for my computer and my Lynx L2 card.

The recipe was fram Allen Wright, and was prett simple:

Braid 3 solidcore 14g conductors and terminate.

The parts can be sourced from Parts Express, and the connectors will run you about $30.

You could dress with techflex so it would look nice.

Hell, with your budget, you could even get the pricey Wattgate connectors.

NOTE: AC lines are dangerous...only attempt if you know what you are doing.

Or, you could just follow the link for a pro kit, or have it assembled.

PCs are very sensitive on the quality of the Power Cord you use them with. Ones that include an RFI shunt circuit typically work well too.

That's what I suspected. I just purchased a vDH Mainsstream power cord, we'll see how it works out.
