1. Did the outage take out the power supply? Can you validate 5V output?
2. Does the RPi visibly power up? Are the board LEDs on?

Whenever I burn a new image, I keep the last functioning one.

Do you have one that previously worked?

And eventually you are able to correct it by yourself...

How many Rpies do you have? --- Are you running LMS and Squeezelite on the same Rpie?

Can you please describe your configuration.... First time I've heard of a 'Mercury Streamer'.

Rather than us asking a myriad of questions.. Why don't you describe exactly the configuration of hardware and software that you are running, exact error messages or failures. Where LMS and squeezelite are running, so that we have a chance of helping you. I believe that the last time you had a problem similar to this, you had some type of 'hat' on the Rpie, that I was not familiar with and it some some jumpers that had loose connections. So, it seems that with the 'Mercury Streamer' which I am not familar with is a likely culprit.

I did a Google search on Mercury Streamer and it came up with a few hits and photos. I really don't know much about it but I didn't read the hits from my Google search.

I did that also, and it appears to be another Rpi Product for $800 or so.....

He's got a weird problem, but is using hardware that most of us are not familiar with. And that was exactly his problem a couple months ago.

In that link that Abe posted, it says some of the Mercury streamers have had problems with the micro SD card socket coming loose. It says if there is no micro SD card or it can't read it, it will attempt to boot from USB.

If you have a USB card reader, try putting your newly-flashed micro SD card in the card reader and plug it into the USB socket. Then try to power up the Mercury streamer and see if it will boot.

If you do have a loose micro SD socket, they say they will send you a new Mercury streamer and you send the original one back to them.
