New A-Quest Dragonfly Black

 I just bought an Audioquest Dragonfly Black from Amazon. This was supposed to be the latest (1.2v) version released along with the Dragonfly Red a while back. The product box has the information specific to the 1.2v Dragonfly Black, but in the "Flight Manual," on the body of the Dragonfly, and in the Windows Control Panel Sound dialog box, it is stated, "Dragonfly Black v1.5."

Has anyone else experienced this apparent mismatch? I just want to make sure that someone hasn't switched out the new Black version for the older 1.5 version.

 Isn't 1.5 newer than 1.2 unless AQ are running a regressive numbering system?

 Good point -- Thank you, PAR. I see now that I had confused the 1.2v (1.2 volt) output of the Dragonfly Black with the v1.5 (version 1.5) of the DF Black. After another look at the "Flight Manual," I also see that AQ references the earlier versions of the Black as 1.0 and 1.2.

But it still seems odd to me that AQ does not refer to the new Dragonfly Black as v1.5 in any of their other literature (except the Flight Manual).

But, problem solved. Thanks again for your help.
