Downloaded Moode Audio 3.5, fantastic! The sound is clearer for the HifiBerry Digi+ Pro.

I made it a point to check it out, pretty cool what a $35 little Raspberry Pi computer can do, really.

Is this the demise of big bucks network streamers?

Moode is better sounding but no Spotify support so it's a no go for me....

As we have seen even what send like an easy install of PiCorePlayer can be to much for some... Big buck streamers don't have to worry

Anyone make a dual boot system... , posted on April 15, 2017 at 10:09:28

For the Raspberry Pi such that two or more players could be on one uSD card?

OK easy enough to swap cards but not several times a day depending on usage.

Main system DAC has two RCA plus a BNC S/PDIF input plus TOSLINK. That's enough for 4 Raspberry Pi players.

Best order a few more.

First they came for the dumb-asses
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a dumb-ass

"Is this the demise of big bucks network streamers?"

I doubt it.

US$1295 for a Bryton Pi and it doesn't support DSD (but microRendu does at half the price):

Install MPD and Squeezelite.

I asked the Rune Team to have SL as an alternative, but they are too lame and wouldn't listen. Oh their excuse is "We have day jobs...."

Reviewers and other professionals continue to side with Bryston in terms of sound quality. EVEN THOUGH Bryston continues to use off the shelf computer boards and software.

Their BDP1 was just your basic motherboard loaded with Linux and Music Player Deamon with a sound card. It won several awards!!!

Big Price = Big Sound!!!!

Hey, they know where their bread is buttered.

And as Upton Sinclair once said:
"It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it."
