Ralph Manufacturer Posts: 4779 Location: Minnesota Joined: April 24, 2002	Replace the current limiting resistors in the output section with 5 Ohm devices. You may find that the output power goes up slightly, before saturation, as the current between the power tubes is more evenly shared.

When I started to use LTSpice a few years later I found out that a single 5.2 Ohm resistor in series with the four cathode resistors of the -150V side could reduce distortion. This resistor is also very useful during idle current adjustment. Omnes feriunt, ultima necat.
