Two great musicians playing the music of a couple of great musicians. Listening to your link I was reminded of Boogie With Stu and Phil Alvin at about the same time. I'll get this one - thanks for the heads up.

It's never too late to go back in time to find "new" music and revaluate things missed.

Over on the Record Collector Facebook page there is a thread about Carol King being one of the most under-rated musicians in history. I'm no way how can someone think that? But then again the way the music industry works I get that younger people who recently discover her might think like that.

But what chance do Ry Cooder or Taj Mahal have? How about those that they honor? There's lots of digging for folks like me to do and much more for those who've come up later than me. There are endless rewards for those who make the effort to discover popular music's rich history.
