French avant garde vocal pop
Very accessible

French artist Camille's album Music Hole was engineered well, and has many, many interesting qualities that can show off what your system can or can't do - delicate sounds of coins falling onto a surface (Money Note), enveoping soundstage presentation (Canards Sauvages, Money Note, Waves), dramatic dynamics (Katie's Tea) subsonics that are intentionally there (Winter's Child) great natural sounding vocal bass (Kfir and many others) and subtle fun nuances throughout the whole album.

I highly recommend it!

Adam

A few years ago I was poking around online and came across her in a full length concert on video, I think on her website, and called down my daughter who had just returned from a summer in France on a teen tourgroup to take a look. She took one look and said "oh, Camille, she's really popular there. We saw her in Lyon!. She did the light bulb thing there too." She did go on to say that it was the only French music she heard on her trip, everywhere else it was American music.

I'll have to take a listen. I hope it is on Qobuz, also French.

Dern I have yet to look for a recommendation and not find it on Amazon HD.

Pretty much makes QOBUZ redundant for me except for the occasional QOBUZ download purchase deal...
