And as everyone around here knows, Berg is one of my FAVES!

Hey! Wait a minute! Total Time 21:55???

Nice! I've loved that piece since Levine's with the Berlin: I purchased based upon the cover pic. : ), posted on June 15, 2017 at 18:34:44

I'd love to see Karajan's 3 Lp set let go in 24 bit someday, but in the mean time, the MTT/SF should be something else, especially if the recording is as transparent as their Adams release.

I'm assuming it's a "single?" And hopefully at Single price?

My experience with it goes back to my LP days too:

Of course, I have the CD reissue now. I also have the Concertgebouw Live SACD with Gatti too:

As the Amazon reviewer says, the beautiful orchestral playing almost removes the thorns from the music! ;-)

I think I'll pass at that price! nt, posted on June 15, 2017 at 20:09:40

the recent stuff is 24/96 and 24/192.
I liked the West Side story in DSD, even tho they recommended the 24/96, the Original Format.
I got the Mason Bates in 24/192.
Their stuff sounds good regardless.

I am sure it would seem longer than 21:55 to me, listening to Berg!

. . . to make their music seem MUCH longer than it actually is - kind of like an audio Tardis! ;-)

Well done, keeps the essential sound with reduced forces.
I like it.
24/96 at Pro Studio Masters.

They did list it in surround but one could not click on the tracks to download. Now it is gone completely.
