That's one of Getz's best albums for certain. I have a copy of the re-release in the 1970s. I saw Getz at Paul's Mall in Boston in the early 1970s with Corea, Barry Altshul, and Dave Holland. After a few Corea compositions, Getz left the stage for about 20 minutes and the trio just cut loose and had the crowd stomping the floor for more. But Getz returned from whatever mission he was on and the concert ended anticlimactically.

"Let's face it-we'd all sound like that if we could. - John Coltrane" An incredible complement. Great music. Check out "Voyage". It is my personal favorite of Getz's. As to the movie, that's the kind of unrealistic expectations I grew up on, unfortunately. T456
