...coffee is a very labor-intensive crop to cultivate and harvest. People won't take $15/hr to flip burgers inside an air-conditioned McDonalds. Who do you think is going to pick coffee beans out in the blazing sun?

It's really an average pattern of weather for a particular region. - They are intertwined, you can't have one without the other. Without weather you have the absence of climate. When the weather changes, the climate changes.

About 5 or 6 years ago, I was at the DelMar Fair and in the (extensive) garden area, I ASKED one of the pros IF I could grow coffee.
I was told by her that her husband had tried and failed.
My brother in law told me about some coffee growing in CARLSBAD, about 8 or 10 miles from HERE.

This might be worth another look and I MIGHT get a different answer now?

Talk about a CASH CROP! Not as good as POT, but it'll do until something better comes along.
