Both were pretty inflamatory in recent comments.
Trump was impeached and accused of 'incitment' or whatever....
Maxine? 'We Understand' and even Pelosi gave her a bye.

Comare and contrast in 50 words or less.

Can you cite examples?

I've cited one of Maxine Waters' recent comments. What has Trump said?

Trumps comments were TAKEN as being 'inciteful' and 'confrontational' by segments of the press.

Trump Supporters don't see any problems while the generally hostile press shot it to the moon.

Link is an example and I can't vouch for its being 100% accurate. As for Maxine Waters? I saw the tapes of the words coming out of her very own mouth.....

Queston IS? Who is trying to overthrow the government?

If pressed, I'd contend that the government was in a (near) constant churn of demands, pushes and pulls with the 3 branches in a form of 'tension'. I think a constitutional amendment, for example, limiting and mandating the number of Supreme Court Justices MAY be a good idea whose time has come......But That is subject to a long process and a LOT of discussiom which will evntually devolve into a nasty 'he said.....she said'.....

If there were a little more 'slack' on this forum, we could have a meaningful discussion about stuff like
'Executive Orders'.....And constitutiona revisionism and a whole host of other related topics.
But people generally lack the self control to NOT get personal or accusatory or vituperative.

I do, though, agree that her comments were, in fact, gratuitous, in a way beginning to approach the kind of statements frequently spewed by our worst right-wing wackos.

Still waiting for an example.

How about this:

"When you see a... you get in their face."

Who said that?

For example? And still waiting for a meaningful reply.

Can you Libs/Lefties do anything other than throw turds?

Maxine Waters must be up for re-election.

I hope she doesn't eat with that mouth.

"Shut chur mouth". - Maxine Waters, in Congressional hearing just the other day.

How is that spelled? "Chur, cher,"? I'd be interested in reading it in the Congressional Record.

It is NOT my call, but rather those in the Media who drove the whole frenzy. Same media did NOT take Miss Waters to task for essentially the same types of inane chatter.

Put that brilliant brain cell to work and LOOK UP the stuff concerning the capital riots that eventually got 'The Donald' in trouble.....More, that is.....

You're going to have to put that magnificent Brain Cell to work and do some non-spoon fed research.

Isn't what Trump said PRIOR to the washington 'riots' what got him in trouble.

YOU may not think so, and I'm not going to throw any stones, but I'm certain you at least heard rumors he got in trouble over his remarks......

I don't know anything about the reputation of this link, but I'm good with direct quotes being accurate.

Who said that? Oh, yeah - Maxine Waters.

Still waiting for a similar type of quote from President Trump.

I wasted several minutes of my life reading the Guardian article, and the Hill article. Near as I can tell, they never did quote him. But, there was lots of chest-pounding and political fluff from people who don't like him. So, that was interesting, although predictable.

June 2017: During a meeting to talk about U.S. visas, Trump said that people from Haiti "all have AIDS" and that Nigerian immigrants would never "go back to their huts" after experiencing the United States

Trump called undocumented immigrants "animals" at a meeting with reporters in the White House. "You wouldn't believe how bad these people are," he said. "These aren't people, these are animals."

October 2019: Trump called the impeachment inquiry against him a "lynching," comparing the constitutionally sanctioned process to the extrajudicial murders of Black Americans following the Civil War. According to the NAACP, there were 4,743 recorded lynchings between 1882 and 1968. Roughly three-quarters of the victims were African American, with lynchings used as a weapon to terrorize the Black community.

June 2020: Trump called anti-racism protesters "looters, thugs" and "others forms of Lowlife & Scum" on Twitter. Later that month, at a campaign rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he called demonstrators in the city "thugs," even though police reports said protests in the city had in in fact been peaceful.

June 2020: Trump called Covid-19 the "kung flu" at his Tulsa, Oklahoma, rally.

June 2016: Trump argued that Judge Gonzalo Curiel — an Indiana-born judge who was overseeing the lawsuit against the now-defunct Trump University — could not be impartial because of his "Mexican heritage." Trump added: "I'm building a wall. It's an inherent conflict of interest."

February 2019: In another tweet targeting Warren, Trump mocked the Trail of Tears — which led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands Native Americans.

August 2017: Following the Unite the Right white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, that led to the murder of counterprotester Heather Heyer, Trump refused to condemn the right-wing marchers. Instead, he insisted that "many sides" and "both sides" were to blame for the day's violence. Trump also said that the white nationalist groups included "some very fine people."

October 2017: After being criticized for his incompetent response to Hurricane Maria, Trump called Puerto Ricans "politically motivated ingrates." He would later deny that 3,000 people died because of the storm, despite overwhelming evidence that this was the case.

July 2019: Trump took aim at four congresswomen of color — Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, and Rashida Tlaib — in a tweet that was clearly racist. "Why don't they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came," Trump tweeted. "Then come back and show us how it is done." Ocasio-Cortez was born in the Bronx; Tlaib is from Detroit; and Pressley was born in Cincinnati. Omar, who was born in Somalia, has lived in the United States for 25 years and became an American citizen in 2000. Trump gleefully reacted to "Send her back!" chants at his rally, and only disavowed them after pressure from the GOP.

For some additional clear Trumpian Racism. To be fair this crap runs in the family. Trump's dad was a member of the KKK and absolutely a racist. So it's kind of ingrained into Donald when he's a kid. Not an excuse but an explanation. Whenever anyone says "I'm the least racist person" or "I'm not racist but..." - they're probably racist.

Either way - the clown is out of office and with luck, he'll drop dead before he can run again.
