 They're just irrelevant. Nobody in Pittsburgh is bitching about no fans in the stands, believe me.

The roof is done but I'm having a hell of a time getting up all the nails. Ran over one with the bicycle yesterday. Lucky I have spares.

 ...have you got an old speaker-magnet lying around? I have a couple magnets off of the old Peavey Black Widow (field-replaceable) woofers (size of a small dinner plate)--just run around with a magnet--unless they used all-aluminum (but I thought those days were over).

 I'm a little surprised that the roofing crew didn't run a magnet around the yard. Many roofing companies have a magnet on wheels, very much like a wide broom that you'd use to sweep the garage or driveway, except that it's a magnet.

 Now that a .500 season is a mathematical impossibility, I guess they can always strive to win 20 games before it's over.
I guess that firing Clint Hurdle was not the answer.
But when I listen to Bob Walk & Joe Block call a game (Walky & Blocky), if I didn't know better, I'd swear the Pirates were going to The World Series.

(I'm actually a hater, BTW.)
