My wife and I were taking our walk yesterday when we heard something we haven't heard since Covid 19 began, music! Best of all New Orleans street music. The band pictured below was made up of alumni from the Roots of Music school where young people are taught music and the traditions of New Orleans brass bands. I wish I had a video because they sounded awesome. I forgot my anger for a moment and it made me think that we would be alright after all.

Great to see. I sure wish they would learn a real trade, though. Music is a tough way to make a living, especially in these times.

The beauty of it all in those moments when beauty is difficult
to recognize or maybe even accept.

Serendipity is always there, joy is always there, love is always there,
they just need to be allowed to get through.

Nice it reached you two.

Things are going to be alright.

"Walkin' In New Orleans" almost sounds like a good song title...

Goodonya!

Great song title except I would change it to "Walking TO New Orleans". Hey wait a minute.

because the younger generation needs to get back to the roots of music, then maybe some great music will come back like that of the mid 50s to Mid 80's that was the best of the music era.

I have sat in on some Jam sessions/gigs and the younger players are just lost when it comes to that type of music.

The Jr. High and High schools should put back music classes. It will help them learn and not just hang out doing nothing after school. A idle mind will find trouble or trouble will find them!
