Yeah we do not have that much of a Mexican population here in Southern NY.

The Taco place is actually Asian owned and operated.

I checked out the web site for Taco Fest, I saw Vanilla Ice played there, wow, pretty cool stuff,

Making tacos is a good idea maybe next time. I bought 5x steak 5x grilled chicken and 5x pork.

Cheers! Oh by the way California scares me ;)

LOL! Thanks for the compliment.

I do stay away from sweets though, I only eat things that are bad for my heart, haha.

If, after a reasonable rest, you have the earning power to get another hundred grand a year you should do it. Hundred grand a year jobs are not all that common.

Get yourself set up to really retire, and ASAP of course. Work five more years that is a half million bucks.

Then there is disability. You might not want to go there. The easiest way to get on disability these days is mental issues. But if you do that there are jobs you can't get, and probably won't be allowed to carry a gun.

And there is no means test for disability, if you already HAVE the money it does not count except for SSI payments. But the SSD is not like that.

" five more years that is a half million bucks." Well JURB old buddy, me thinks your math is just a tini wini bit off the mark. You forgot like say a minimum of 35% in taxes. So we are at about 65000. Now let us not forget bulletheads addiction to expensive junk food, alcohol, cigarettes and hookers. I can't imagine that he lives on less than $40,000. Now let us see, 65000-40000= 15000. 15000x5 years= 75000 dollars. A ballpark estimate, of course. A far cry from your 500000 figure. I must say though that your estimate of his savings comes from the same level of meticulous analysis as so many of your past observations. Good work, sir. T456

My son picked up 3 1/2 pounds yesterday from the local carneceria and four of us pigged out on tacos for a grand total of $15 and a little time on the BBQ.

"The Taco place is actually Asian owned and operated."

Believe it or not some people in Oregon are bitching about that, calling it some sort of cultural appropriation. They think only Italians should make pizza and spaghetti, Hispanics should make tacos and burritos and Chinese should make Chinese food. Greeks should make gyros.

I thought it was bullshit when I read the post on a forum, but it is in multiple news sources. It must be a liberal thing. Well, at first I did not believe they had cry ins. Then I found out it was not bullshit. What's wrong with people ? Asians can't make tacos ? Well it looks like the just did, and if you like them they did a decent job at it. People who scream for equality n shit want to what, impose restrictions on what you can sell in your restaurant because of your race ? I think we are beyond crazy here.

agree JURB.

Everyone is nuts.

Best pizza I've had by far in my life was made by Indians.

I have found that liberals want to control everything. Your speech, your toilet, your front yard. You have the right to be homosexual and have abortions after you turn in your guns, And if you make any money you have to give to help people from other countries, against your will.

But there are no conservatives, neo-cons means neo conmen. There is nothing conservative about a half trillion dollar offense budget, and don't even try to call it a defense budget. Every attack on this country has succeeded.

Both parties need to be shut down to give birth to new parties, to get rid of the old boy network, To bring in a whole new gang of monkeys. (remember the story of the electrified banana)

The big problem is that with automation, one Man can do the work of ten. What happens to the other nine ?

We are moving into a different time and have not yet figured out how to deal with it. By nature it will have to be socialistic.

I do not have the solution, if anyone does, I am all ears.

I didn't do any math.

RE: taco deal, posted on July 25, 2017 at 20:55:41
If you didn't do any math how did you come up with 500k saved after he made 100k a year for five years. That's not math??
